OUR STORY

South Park is Home Base

Shawarma Guys launched as a single food truck on Grape Street in South Park back in 2019, with one goal: bring real Mediterranean flavor to San Diego. There was no storefront, no chain behind it, just a window, a spit of slow-roasted meat, and a neighborhood that kept coming back.

South Park’s mix of independent shops, craft breweries, and walkable streets made it the right place to start. Word spread fast, and the truck on Grape Street became the reason people plan a night around a shawarma plate instead of settling for one.
Today Shawarma Guys has grown to three San Diego County locations, but the South Park truck is still parked in the same spot, seven days a week, doing what it’s always done.
